anyone hear any news about if bobby is starting another track there has been a romor going around and i would like to know if there is any truth behind it

well i think to get to the truth of a rumor is to go directly to the sourse i would just ask bobby hes a nice enough guy i really dont think hes gonna get mad or lose his cool if you just ask him

There were some delays in the new facility build, but from what was discussed recently a major hurtle should be cleared this week. The track build has not started yet, but a lot of prep has gone into it getting the land ready for the build.

Is this going to be a closed venture? I would like to be involved.....who do I send my Resume/Portfolio to. Seriously.

Dave is right, we had a delay in securing the land, But that hurdle has been cleared.

If anyone wants to come and check it out feel free to do so this Saturday. Address is 4651 Krag. It's five miles from loop 375 on Montana. Turn left on Krag and it's about a mile down the road.

We are renting an auger and will be digging the holes for the light poles this Saturday. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have already purchased the material for the track and it will be a surface never before seen in El Paso. No more worrying about traction!!!

Ok, I will bite What is the material? & What tires would you recommend for Truggy/Buggy.....

it's a mixture of clay, sand and other stuff. any high friction tire will more than likely work.

What time does everyone expect to be there today? Just asking Cuz I've got a friend leaving for a deployment today and would like to help out after that.

we are out here now. will be here all day. we have a small grill going to cook up some hotdogs. if you would like to bring something else to cook on the grill feel free to do so. we also have some chips soda and water.

BTW All 3 kids trucks are done and will be there ready to race!

Making progress....

Purchased all the corrugated pipe for the track lay out.

Purchased all the pvc material and dug the trench to get water from the street to the track. We will have 4 spigots on each corner of the track so 4 people can water at once!
Should finish installation this weekend.

Retaining wall around track is being installed, 30% done.

Purchased Sink and toilet for shop, started the installation process.

Already purchased the lights, 1000W, 115,000 lumens!!! on 45ft. poles

It's taking a while but progress is being made. Keep in mind guys I only get a chance to work on it on weekends, mainly Saturdays (stupid regular job) but it will get done.

Sounds great Bobby! Realy look forward to your new track and facility! I too, have been hitting the Onroad racing on the non-8th scale offroad weekends. Please give me a shout if there is any assistance I can provide.
