With all the focus on getting the work done at the track, I haven't taken a ton of pictures yet. I do have a few from 2 days ago, but with all the dirt being moved inside as of yesterday, these pics are kinda behind the power curve. I will get some more pics soon. But here are a couple. STANDARD: EXERCISE SAFETY AND HAVE FUN MAKING SPEED WORLD OUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME!!!!

For those of you who have not had an opportunity to stop over and see Speed World; let me tell you, this thing is serious. The track is already coming together well, and the design is like nothing you've ever seen. The track at Speed World boasts some insane features just for teasers; an over under section, a wall ride, and something that's been dubbed "the HOTWHEELS Section". I believe that this track will offer up a tasty blend of heart pumping action and unmatched competition at a level that El Paso has never experienced before. I'm extremely excited about the track and I am sure you too will be as overwhelmed as I was just to breathe in the idea this beast.

If anyone would like to lend a hand we will be dragging, packing, and rolling the dirt in tomorrow and Friday starting at 8:30am. These are my last two days off for summer vacation, and my kids started school today and go through Friday, so I'll have these two next days to lend a hand. If you can't lend a hand no problem, but stop on by and say hello and check out the place. See you all very soon.

One thing that has been discussed at SpeedWorld is IMPROVEMENT and always moving toward making the BEST R/C racing facility. The "next race" should ALWAYS be an improvement from your last. Not just from how you finished the race, but how much you learned and improved. Racing can be Fun, and at times it can be Frustrating. We want to take out the Frustration and increase the FUN! There are MANY skilled R/C fanatics in this area. There are MANY Veterans, racers who have a lil' experience and there are a lot of beginners. A wealth of knowledge that can be shared to make racing GROW and benefit EVERYONE.

How can we do this?

In my last line of work, we conducted a "meeting" of the After Actions of any type of mission that we had to accomplish. EVERYONE had an equal voice, everyone. This was because nothing is ever 100% perfect. What happened, what should of happened, and what can be done the next time to make it a success and MAKE IT HAPPEN! This logic is what we hope at SpeedWorld R/C Raceway, will make this Track an INCREDIBLE place you can call your Home Track.

In this endeavor of making the Finest R/C racing Track, a Suggestion Box, a text, a phone call or whatever form of communication to make suggestions will be in place. Now, understand that ALL suggestions will be heard and addressed. Some will be no problem, some will take money, some will take time more than others. But, they will ALL be addressed and considered none the less.

The motivating factor in improving this facility will always be you the Racer. Keep in mind that the focus right now is to get the Track on its feet first. We must crawl before we walk, and eventually RUN. Once we are at the RUN phase and we get a rythym, this track will allow you to improve as a racer. We all want to have FUN, and when we all improve and the competition starts to heat up, the FUN is automatic.

So, in conclusion, if you wish to remain anonymous and make your suggestions via PM to any of the SpeedWorld Staff, or you can stop by and check out the track, feel free to post any suggestions right here in this thread if you wish, or however, we are listening and taking notes. Member names: SpeedWorld Staff 1, 2, 3 & 4 eagerly await your responses.

Went out yesterday to check out the track and everything is looking SWEET!!! Joey was telling me about how the track is going to be laid out and I CANT WAIT TO RUN !!! I will be there tomorrow to help out in anyway I can.
