Hey yall!

Well I finally got a sc10 4x4 and I have a question or two about it.

I'm going to run a 4 pole in it and I'm not quite sure what is the best gearing for the truck is. Has anyone found a "sweet spot" that they like? Also what has been a good setup for shocks at Hal's (oil, spring)?

Thanks for the help,

Smitty

Jason, ask your friends if any of them are missing anything "major" that they might have left at the track. Let me know.

The weight you have on the right rear is going to throw it off. Believe it or not, the right rear is just a tad heavier than the left rear. You would think it is lighter because of the motor is on the left rear. But the weight is "distributed" for a lack of a better word, where it bolts up to the blue motor mount which is more right of the centerline of the truck.

Make sense?

I have 4 electronic scales. We can put your car on them, each tire, and it will give you a good idea how to distribute your weights evenly.

Heck yeah that would rock Ron! I only have one little digital scale from my reloading stuff. Im looking to get the rig in the 6.1 to 6.2 lb range. Those Losi's at about 8lbs need to just go on a diet because I will be coming through!!! cherry

lol!

Now to get my friggin auxilary goodies wired up proper with no brown outs... Hmm...

Novak Glitch Buster Receiver Capacitor
[NOV5626]

This is the Novak Glitch Buster Receiver Capacitor. The Glitch Buster Capacitor is Novak’s weapon in the war against glitching. The same technology that professional racers around the world have been using to fight glitching problems is now available for everyone. The Glitch Buster works by storing power from the BEC, and acting as a filter to eliminate any noises generated by servos that can wreak havoc on your radio system. Another benefit of using Novak’s Glitch Buster is that it reduces the load on the ESC’s BEC, and improves response time, which makes the servo faster! The high-capacity, super low-resistance capacitor comes pre-wired and ready to install into any standard receiver. Simply plug it directly into any open channel or battery slot on the receiver, and experience a glitch-free ride.
