Fantastic job on your new track! Thank you and your track crew for providing us a great facility and track surface to run on and look forward to the next time I can get out there.

We got the railing done on the drivers stand and got part of the deck up .... We also got the drivers booths put in ... Still got alot to do out there.... Thanks to everyone who has come out and help out .... It is really great to see all of the support! --- Roger

Is there racing at hals this weekend?

Whos all going to hals? I kinda wanted to run at the new track. But that ladder driver stand setup is down right scary. Specially if my youngest boy is coming along.

They posted that the railing on the drivers stand got put up, and they're now working on the pit area.

I love you guys but you seriously need to stop hacking the thread. If you want to do a hals roll call please do it in another thread. I am in no way bias towards any track and you know darn well that if you guys were posting about races at another track in a hals thread I would have the same reaction. Thanks in advance

Desert Downs Raceway will be open for another open practice session .... 10 to ?. The rails are up on the drivers stand and the desk is up .... I will be out there doing some more work to the railing ... Hope to see yall out there on Saturday! - Roger -

Lets air this out for all to see...We at Desert Downs do not have any issues with Hals or anyone that is associated with Hals...I dont mind that you promote races there on this thread...I understand the forum has its rules that we must follow...but we take no offense...if it wasnt for those guys there would be no new track...I got my start at Hals and they have always been helpful and kind...just like all involved, I love racing...and will do my part to promote tracks not only in town but other tracks on the surrounding area...thank for taking the time to read my thoughts...looking forward to a great 2012!!! I also thank Hal's because they have been there to help everyone for years.
I remember visiting the store since I was 8.
Anyway, today is the last time to go race at Desert Downs on a Saturday that Hal's race off-road.

Because in 15 days the points series begins.

Heading to desert downs for the first time. Finally going to meet the new track.
