| Here are the electronics i have waiting for my SC10 4x4 and some tires and wheels hopefully it gets to Jorge's Wednesday so i can start wrenching on it only thing i work Wednesday and Thursday nights so i will have to thrash on Friday and Saturday to hopefully make it Sunday Hopefully its like my 2 other ae builds (FT RC8Be and FT SC10) those went really smooth only thing i wont have done is a new body too much work in front of my stuff unless i can get Andrew to do one up for me HINT HINT and when i get some time i will pay him back with a paint job that would be cool... If you're listining Andrew HELLO..... i kinda hear an echo lol just a thought I'll be posting the build with pics as i go maybe if someone else has one this thread might help i guess i should have waited till i got the truck but oh well this helps the pain of waiting

| yeah its belt driven we'll have to see how well it last but i have a sc18 that is belt driven and its a tuff lil truck it has a 8.5 brushless and i only ripped 1 belt and that was my fault. well i can say this the fit and finish of this truck is very nice so far we'll just have to wait and see on the rest of the truck | |

| I don't know too much about the truck but for you to wait until it came out to join our class tells me something. Belts are nice because they are quiet and smooth. I know this is your build but didn't Chris C. order one too? Is Barrack putting it together for him? | |

| Wassup fellas! Sorry about not coming sooner, yes was planning on getting one of those babies for Lil C but an opportunity came up for a new bike SO guess what he chose ??? I've been getting that baby together for a race this weekend, its SWEET and the guys at EZ Rider helped out CJ big time with it so I couldn't pass it up. The truck looks really good bobby, maybe CJ can paint it for you since you showed him how? I might have to get one anyways for me That was some funny shisnet, area 51 towel action! | |

| what i can add is with the steering and camber links is that the manual is backwards if you do as the manual says you have way too much toe and camber if you do it opposite they are not perfect but alot closer to being right. the fitment if the chassis is awesome the sections are keyed and fit very good and when bolted together it is very solid i really didnt have any problems nothing was missing so i really dont have anything bad to say its a great kit and a pleasure to build only sleep and work keep getting in the way.
oh and associated gives you options to run the front overdrive or the rear underdrive i chose to run normal 20t clicker and 20t decupler thats why you see i wrote 19 and 20 on the gears
thanks for looking | |

| Hey it's lil Bobby M. Good to see you on here bro. Bobby, Looking good brother, you just about got it going. I'm really digging the beefy arms and turn buckles. And that clicker is definitely going to help you in the tight turns. Can't wait to see what it'll do on the track | |

| Congrats brother That's looks really good bro. If you've been following this post you are definitely want to see this truck run this Sunday. There should be a least a handful of Short-Course 4x4 trucks that'll be running Ten Minutes in the main on the same lap so it'll sure be a good race. Bobby i noticed you have the box tires up front. Are the tires that come in the kit a soft compound tire? | |

| i mounted them up just so i could run on the street for a quick test run the tires are hard as rocks i dont even know why associated puts them in this kit the tires are not that good but for a lil testing i guess they will work. i had Andrew "the 4x4 dr" mount up some calibers and some megagrids for sunday for test and tune and maybe stay on the same lap, maybe. i will for sure have the area 51 skunkworks towel that might help me a lil bit lol | |

| i weighed the truck today and its 6.5 lbs ready to race battery and all not bad i probably could have made it lighter but i need some weight with all the other 4x4's having aluminum chassis. | |

| Gotcha. I don't remember anyone doing well with a stock sc10 tire back when we had the tire rule. We'll I have to say extra weight doesn't hurt. Especially when you're hitting the triple with two other trucks | |

| Let me be the first to say well done brother Just like I said you were gonna figure the truck out in the heats and we'd all be sweating bullets in the main I'm not even going to try to make excuses. You got me brother. Just more motivation to step it up for the Sunday to come. | |

| thanks man i really didnt think the truck was going to be good out of the box to be honest the truck needs quite a bit of tuning it gets a bit squirrely and it feels like the front isnt pulling enough but once i get things sorted out i think its going to be one hell of a truck.
but i do have to say that was a good race one of the better ones ive watched but i might be a lil bias cuz i didnt participate in any of other ones lol
there were a couple where you and Andrew were battling it out and those were good also
hopefully i can make it this sunday i have to work but i can maybe make it a lil late (if Bobby will alow me to register late) i get off at 5 and its close to Bobby's if not i will be there to watch for sure | |

| I don't know man that truck seemed to be on point out of the box and whatever little things you did to it. You said you were fighting it a little, but it didn't seem like it. All that said, I like the way it looked and drove, so you never know Great job Bob I said you were the one to look out for.I think things are going to get real interesting these races to come Great driving to everbody, and to H for putting down 30, I havea new goal. | |

| That truck did seem on point. Well point enough for the marshals too keep their eyes on it and off trucks on their lids It's looks like you're not the only that'll be out there with with a SC104x4.... This isn't exactly the kinda truck you can pull apart and put together right away. After two heats and a ten minute main, is there any general advise you can give to someone that's putting this truck together for the first time? | |
