Hal's Track Maintenance

I move the post over here from the RCandMe/Community Track topic.
So a few people were saying that Hal's track could use a little maintenance. I say we help out.
TQ59 said he could talk to Carlos the track owner and he should have no problem with a few of us(or a bunch of us) going out with some shovels and brooms to groom the track and fill some holes. I will be buying pizza
and if someone else could bring sodas or waters that would be great.
The date we are shooting for is June 4th. If you are in Please reply " I'm IN" . Thanks guys

I'm out of town that Saturday, but I'll post the "I'm in" for Alex O, since he seems to be most concerned for Hal's track, thanks Alex, I know you will do your share to improve area racing.

I will bring a case or two of water. Most definately in on this guys.

lol im down for it, but june 4th, which i forgot to remember yesterday, is Drag Racing day for RACEPARTY and looks like im attending. Unless of course the guys(adrian, and who ever is going to hals) want to do it early in the day.

Simon alex, i told adrian to schedule it during the week also cuz we will be in albuquerque that weekend. Don't mind going to help to make the track top notch.

Not sure about thursday. Military scheduling, plus preparing for a 6 week field exercise starting the 6 of june and will only be back on the weekends. I will try but no promises.

Details: We will have a short meeting to address track maintenance and the game plan. Please bring a shovel or any yard tools if possible. Pizza and water will be provided for volunteers. If you would like to bring chips or any sweets you are welcome to.

Wish I were there already...a few more days and I'll do my best to pitch in when Military schedule allows. Big thanks to all those planning/going to help a local track!!!!

I am going to try to make it tonight. I will talk to the wife and see if I can go for at least a little while. Maybe I can bring my kids for a bit. They are really young and shouldn't pose a problem.

Thanks for the replies. We should be done at nine if we get enough help. Maybe sooner. Any time you can spare would be greatly appreciated.

It's raining at Hal's. Were going to reschedule

We ended up working on a part of the track that really needed it. Even though it rained, it ended up a cool clear night; perfect for track repair. Thanks to those who showed up to help. Maybe next time we can get a few more people out.

I should of know better. El Paso weather Thanks for coming out Gino, Sebastian, Hector, and Robyn. We had a good time and addressed a needed change. Maybe you can bring all those cool tools next time Gino

couldnt make it this past thursday because of rain issues by my area. I really hope i can make it next time.

At the same time i want to Thank Hals Race director Eric Lucero, and Robin for really taking care of us the drivers while racing, that is something that i really appreciate from them guys
