Just a thought but why don't you guys ask charlie what cost is a set if he purchases multiple sets. If there is anything him and his father are passionate about it's helicopters and on-road.
And jobbers/wholesalers generally give discounts on large purchases.

Robert & Robert I would run my slash 4x4 if I still had it but don't want to put that kind of strain on my AE. I may run my 2wd for fun.

I will use the slash 4x4 if the class comes up.

So how about a run at own risk on-road class?

If Charlie cared or had the thought then he would have already done it. Jorge has offered to bring tires but no one has come through on a tire we can agree on. So far I know most are in favor for sorex, just need to get a hold of them now.

We have Exhausted every possible way ,trying to get Sorex Tires for a good price,but lets face it Guys , Sorex tires will not ever be discounted as much as we want them to. We can find some cheap ones on RC tech or Ebay but , not in a Consistent basis... We need to find a Sorex Distributor in the States that can provide us with our demand at a good Price.. No Such Luck ... A main Hobbies is our only Choice for Now.. at 35 p/set plus ship...( Expensive in my opinion.) Jason Burks has tried other Brands and they just dont hold up or Perform as well...I have Explained our Dilema to Charlie at Hals and he is willing to sell us Sedan Tires at Cost to help us out, but is unable to find Sorex distributors ...Any suggestions or Ideas ????
Andre , Charlie does Care and is trying to find tires but doesnt know where to call. if you have a Contact number I am all ears !!!! .

Lets just keep it like it is now shoot we only have like 10 or so tc anyways. So we have 3 for 4x4 class sweet. Time to get some tires. Now what about adding little plastice jumps for the 4x4's??

When you click on sorex website it takes you to ampdraw website. I tried looking on rctech.net for a sorex rep or sponsored guy and I got no luck myself. Maybe I looked wrong. I know for sure there is a sweeps racing rep and I'm sure they could help out but I know the majority prefer sorex. That's why I was trying to see if Dave had a connection. Or we can call amain and ask them if we put a bulk order in maybe they could help us out on some discount.

Outoforder, went down same avenue with no success a while back. Still working to contact the manufacturer or locate a U.S. distributor. Tried the Sweep brand tires, custom made ($40) for our track conditions and they only lasted 2 qualifiers. Very dissapointed in these tires. We have also tested Solaris and Absolute (Muchmore) tires, with descent success, but not as good performance as Sorex has provided. Wanted to proivde this info, so $$ isn't spent on products that have already been tested without available prior knowledge of results.

I used some jaco rubber tires don't know what compound and they seemed ok. Well its good to know everyone is trying to find a way to keep an eye out for tires.

I agree, the Jaco Blues, worked fairly well when the temps were higher. They seem very similar to a 32R, but a tad harder.

I received an email from Hals about the point series and I wanted to know if the Onroad entry fee changes to $15 for first car. Adrian or Eric can you confirm?

Onroad is $5 per class/vehicle entry. Check out the 2012 Points Series flyer posted on left edge of home page.

Just bring what you'd like to run, they'll fit you in somewhere. Usually there is a Heinz 57, but it just depends on how many people show up. They're really good about getting everyone in.
