| Stopped at Hal's on my way home today and the discussion came up about bringing on road night racing back at Hal's. So here is the scoop: Traxxas has intoduced their 1/16 scale kyle busch camping world race replica truck that is an AWD on-raod truck and is available in either brushed or brush-less versions. The class will be pretty much spec to keep cost low and Charlie is willing to give substantial discounts (if not at cost) on the trucks to help the class grow. Now I understand that the truck is running the same platform as the Traxxas Rally Car and Ford Mustang so if you already own one, I don't see why you couldn't run it. I also understand many of us that still own 1/12 scale Pan/carpet cars and 1/10 AWD cars. So it's time to dust em off. We will be posting details and racing schedule soon! | |

| Saturday night at Hal's they announced they are bringing on-road back on Wednesday nights! Details and race schedule will come soon. I'm going to pull my TC3 out of my storage unit BTW when the forum was launched REPLIES were disabled in this forum. They are now enabled and YOU CAN REPLY in this forum(ON-ROAD). | |

| Sorry bro. I actually go to Church Wednesday nights. It may just be to kick it off. In the past the off Saturdays were for on-road. Charlie? Hector? Eric? | |

| That's a good question. I guess it's going to depend on what hooks best. I know the 1/16 Scale class is going somewhat spec. Wish some of the guys that used to run would chime on this subject a little more | |

| pan cars dont do good at hals unless you spray down vht or sugar water. They tried running 1/12th scale ae pan cars back in the day and they would just spin out unless you were running your diff loose. But that was with nihm batt and brushed motors. With brushless and lipos im sure its gonna be worse. 4wd 1/10 electric and nitro would be a good start. Had some good on-road racing back in the day there 1/8th scale serpents.. Do they plan on resurficing the track? Ill bring my Yokomo nitro gt4 its a bad ass tc car ask hector or alex.. Use to run with the serpent impacts did very well.. | |

| Yeah, man I wish I had a carpet car back then. Since someone, won't mention any names, has been slacking it on updating us on HERE, First Race is this Saturday at 11:00. From what I heard everyone wants to get there earlier so showing up at 10:00 wont be a bad idea. Looks like 1/10 AWD is gonna be the big class and 1/16 Behind it. | |

| Oct 22nd, what a great turnout and fun Onroad race competition. Got in 6 heats and a 10 minute Main. Lots of wheel time, setup opportunities and a great racing environment. Look forward to the next chance we get to race together! | |

| The Team Associated TC6.1 is already posted as incoming soon. Far as anyone can tell, it has some minor changes to supension arms, that should carry over to the current TC6 platform. | |
