Welcome to El Paso. Glad to see another Kyosho driver. We currently have one SC-R out here kicking some butt and a handful of RB5's and RT5's.

That's fantastic and glad to see there's another Kyosho driver in town! Looking forward to getting there this week meeting everyone and learning the track. Heck, I'm still learning the 2WD SC also, after having it for about a month but having a blast racing it, lol!

Fianlly got to use the AKA Wishbone SC tire last weekend in Dallas/Ft. Worth track (Mikes Hobby Shop) and they worked fantastic on smooth/packed surface (dry and wet) conditions. Waiting on more wheels to glue up a few more different tread patterns for here and look forward to trying them out for the Beat The Heat practice day. If anyone is going over to the Shortcourse Showdown they're having in Sep, recommend a low profile clay tire in soft (M3, Blue)/super soft (M4, Green)compound.

Wanted to share the setup I used at Raceparty (Bobby's) Track for the "Beat the Heat" race to assist any Kyosho SC users in obtaining a starting setup.
I used Jared Tebo's CRCRC setup, which can be downloaded from www.kyoshoamerica.com site, added the .05* Aluminum Rear Hubs and AKA City Block Tires (soft with red closed cell foam), which provided descent traction in both dry/wet conditions, but had tendancy to traction roll occassionally. Would recommend possibly trying the #65 Rear Springs when track is loose to obtain better rear traction.

Will be going to Big Bore SC shocks soon as possible. Current BB setup is Front: 37.5 oil with Yellow springs and 30mm ride height. Rear: 32.5 oil with Yellow springs and 28mm ride height. Will post results after trying new setup.

Last race, 31 Jul, tried the AKA Enduro SC Tires. They worked much better than AKA Cityblocks in both dry/wet conditions and minimized traction roll issues.
