| Thats around a 9.5 turn lrp motor KV wise. Manual says 18/84 and check your temps after 5 min. | |

| Thanks... I just re-read the castle specs and gearing chart and it says for that 1406 4600kV series motor to use an 87t spur and 12-16T pinion.... yes its a 4600Kv, my mistake... I was thinking 14/87 setup..?  | |

| Im not sure but I think hals said in there news letter that 10.5 was the lowest you could go in 2wd sc. The motor you have is gonna probably be to fast for hals IMO. 10.5 or 13.5 is perfect for the slower sections. | |
