| It was a great day in the Wilderness today, outstanding Rock Crawling event, it is nice to know our guests enjoyed it . I find it relaxing getting out of the daily routine and being out there with Nature in the great outdoors. Hope to see you guys more often, every location we visit for Rock Crawling is different and unique, night Rock Crawling in the desert is another experience you should try. All our rigs with their own lights illuminating the way.... Jorge I may need to get with you later to get your input and price on the Axial SCX10 AX90021 with Dingo Body, I kind of like that body style for my first real scaler. Don't want to "cheat" by using a "Comp designed rig" disguised as a scaler, want to learn and feel how a real scaler is like. Hopefully find a way to get better performance out of it other that improving on my few skills. *** Have discovered that Rock Crawling can be compared to hitting balls at a pool table. Where skills , angles and pivot skills do matter. *** Wanted to thank you guys that showed up and were up to the challenge to see what Rock Crawling was about. Hope to see you guys again. | |

| Looks like you guys had a good time. Have we gotten some dates set up for this season's comps? What are the dues going to be? Will we be able to run both the comp class and scaler class? Or will there be dues for both classes? Looking forward to this season, just as long as I can beat all the bergs. Cuz I'm awesome and such. But you guys already know that. ahahahaahahahaa! | |

| Today was the first Crawling event of the year, after having such a great time decided to retire the German WW2 Cammo Rat Rod Truck and the Armored Personnel Carrier "APC"' even their performance is superb , wanted to make room to other curious projects. Here are a few photos of the mock-ups of the new body changes planned. A two door Jeep Rubicon, and a Cargo Truck, possibly with a flat bed or with an APC as cargo attached. Have not decided if with cargo or possibly a towing crane on the truck bed and make it an official recovery vehicle. Will start to make the new changes this week and have them both ready for next Crawling Session, have to add some detailing such as windshields, lights for night crawling and more... | |

| When you mention chalk ... Are you talking about the chalk they use to mark soccer of football fields? | |

| As Jorge stated a few posts above the scalers, since we don't have a whole lot of them, we will run class 1, class 2, and class 3, together and as discussed at the meeting we will run the handicap system as follows: class 1 = -10, class 2 = -5, class 3 = scratch.
For example: my rig which is a class 2 will be awarded -5 points automatically where Jorge's wraith which is a class 3 rig is awarded 0 points to start out then the rigs are scored individually then we will run the courses.
Hope this makes you all confused LOL | |

| Yes sir, you can even run 2.2 wheels in class 2 as long as the tire is not taller than 4.75" when laid on its side and measured | |

| Quick question,
Is the komodo 1.9 a good scaler to start off with? Im thinking I might want to play a little.

| Jason dont get a komodo it might be a good crawler but part support is not there, You dont need to buy from me but get an axial or almost anything sold thru RC4WD....other wise you might not get parts even a venom creeper is a good option and they are very inexpensive a kit goes for under $ 100.00. The important thing is to get a esc with drag brake hint....tekin fxr.
