Next week is the "Bring the Heat" event out at Raceparty.net and the track is going to get sugared. I can't say I've done a lot of "blue-groove" racing if any. What kind of things should racers expect and what tires work best Question Front and rear. The guys told me something like this should work.

those would be what you want... either that or if you run calibers or goosebump like tires they will soon look like those or be bald Smile MX compound if you can find them in proline or losi RED.... holeshots were great in Albuquerque as well.

So what model of tires should I get for a B4 Buggy?
Will a couple pairs of jconcepts goosebumps be enough for the rears?

not if they sugar it. it will bald the goosebumps quick. You want barcodes, suburbs, or bk bars, switch or taper pins in hard compound perferably. I have a bunch of B4 front barcode/switch/taper pins and I think I have a couple of suburb rears. all are mounted. I also have some bar codes for T4 mounted.

Normally goosebumps etc are good, but the sugar will be HIGH friction.

If you all keep the track clean you can run what ever tires you want even bald.

Very true any tire should work, but pins will wear quickly. I agree that the low profile tread patters should work exceptionally well. For SCT looking to try Wishbones, Enduros or go to City Blocks if needed. Drove by track first time yesterday, but was unable to see much from the road. Hope to be able to check out track soon.

I heard the traxxas 4x4 S1's are good too. For Short Course 4x4.
