| I have a RX8 in my 4x4SC and really like it. But I also have a Speed Passion Silver Arrow in my 1/8th Elec Buggy. The Speed Passion is a really nice unit and every two weeks or so Speed Passion sells them direct for 50% - and right now they are on sale. $63.21 for the ESC and like $12 for shipping.. Pretty nice speed control for $75 to your door. Speed Passion - Silver Arrow ESC 1/8th scale | |

| I'd say Tekin RX8 is the way to go. I have had Tekin in my cars since the RX8 came out and I have never had one problem with them. I'm currently running 3 - 4x4 SC, 8 scale buggy and truggy, and Tekin RS Pro in my 2WD. If money is not an issue, look at what the majority is running. | |

| The rx8 is not a bad deal. On stormer hobbies you can pick up a combo for $260. Thats what I'm going to do soon. | |

| The RX8 has a history of burning up. They are great ESC's as long as they don't melt down. Also heard tons of stories of them quitting from hard impacts or vehicles casing jumps.
I have my RX8 and love it and knock on wood no problems. My 4600 motor did spit the end bell and caused major damage which Tekin did replace because it was in the warranty window. The Speed Passion is an awesome unit especially for only $75 brand new, running it with the Tekin 1900kv in my buggy and love it...

| I can say I would go with the rx8 over the MM because the rx8 can run sensor and sensorless. | |
