Wheres the old elpasorc

i mean no disrespect but i miss the old elpaso rc , were we could talk about set ups and just about rcs in general, i completely understand there is new tracks and what not and thats cool but eery other post is about the "new track" and what not, what happended to talkin about the new cars comin out (22sct, losi scte nitro, hot bodies...) or set ups, or tips and tricks, and thers is still people that do that but i know theyy would rater do it in person,this place isnt the same, i do enjoy hearing about races out of town causewe should share that with others but everyother post is baout the same thing,

Has anyone noticed how fast the RC world has changed in El Paso?
Craigslist has no more cheap RC cars, not even the new bright or nikko...
The new brights and nikkos etc. even the chinese low quality cars are $80 on ebay nowadays. no way of getting a good cheap land rover hard body for a scaler.

About set ups and all that, everyone in el paso that will ever be into rc is with someone who already knows a ton about it.

just trying to talk about that, here. guess it is more of a public calendar for events of RC with a section to sell and trade. hahaha

I like it for local events and such so its easy to sort for only local hapenings...

I then like rctech with a huge information resource audience for tech info.

Shorty I believe you are referring back to the days when Sunday racing at bobby's was the place to be. I would post and edit the podium finishers pics and everyone got a kick out of them. Them we would talk about what we were going to do differently to their RC for the next week or create a thread on the new RC they were building. What you have to remember is that this forum was created to be El Paso's local RC source. So if a new track is opening up, people are going to chime about it and we welcome that. As long as member are following the forum rules, we welcome all types of RC related content. If it's the fellowship you miss, it comes and goes on here. Go to a local track and walk though the pits. The fellowship at the track never dies.
